The tractor is a 110 TLB. It has a backhoe attachment on the back. We are planning on doing all kinds of work such as land clearing, stump removal, leveling, bushhogging, septic tanks, etc. We don't want our names in the title, but we do live in Northern Arkansas in the Ozarks. I've seen alot of similar services with Tractor and Backhoe Services in the title. Is this good or does something else sound better. Any help would be great.
According to the Chamber of Commerce, your name should say exactly what you do. I have a problem when I see a name that is vague like tech pro or daddeo's, you know what I mean. Maybe something like Arnies Backhoe Service only with YOUR name in it. Then your business card and letterhead can list all your other services.
We have a guy in town that is called Redneck. That just scares me.
Make sure you get yourself a website too where your domain name will reflect what you do.
Hope I helped some.
Good luck.

You should spend some time thinking about why you don't want your names as part of the name of your business. People seem more trustworthy when they use their own names. That can get you more business. If you use a cute name such as "Tractor Ho" some of your customers won't take it seriously, and will think of it as your hobby instead of a professional business.

The quality of your service and your prices will determine the amount of work you get much more than a catchy name.
